3D Animation
We come across 3D Animation in many different media during the day. Whether it’s in movies, TV shows, commercials, or games, 3D Animation has become more and more popular. We see many different applications of this technology, and it has developed so much that it has reached a point of “if you can imagine it, you can create it.
"If you can imagine it, we can create it!"
Creativity infused with Technology
3D Animation is creating moving images in a digitalized environment that is 3D. 3D Animation can also be used for more practical purposes, such as architecture, to give an overview of how objects will look in real life. 3D Animation can be found across the entertainment front, marketing videos, social media platforms; the list goes on. It can capture the audience’s attention quickly, which is why 3D Animation is also used as a powerful marketing tool. There are various uses of 3D Animation.
We make content for Film, TV and Online
Film & TV commercials are short marketing videos that range from 15 to 60 seconds with a solid call to action. It will drive traffic to your campaign landing pages and generate exposure. Including 3D animations in TV commercials helps you stand out in the market where competition is intense and deliver your message with impact. Such commercials aired on television, online or on social media can help increase brand awareness since they are short yet compact with information relevant to the company’s product or services.
Product Visualisation
A 3D prototype design is a 3D model of a product that allows us to study its properties and functions. A 3D prototype design helps match the creator’s vision. Virtual Reality (VR) requires 3D computer-generated environments that replace everyday reality. These immersive and interactive environments engage with your sight, hearing, and even touch. Increasingly, VR is experienced through headsets or goggles and is common in games and entertainment. The demand for real-time 3D skills is skyrocketing, and more and more companies are starting to look for ways to get interactive experiences for their customers.
Architectural Visualization allows clients to walk around a 3D model and view it from any angle. Arch Vis enables people to explain Ideas to anybody cost-effectively, helps Detected Project Errors Earlier on by spotting issues before construction to avoid extra costs.
Explainer Videos
Explainer videos are short animated videos that show how something is done or how something works in a simple yet engaging manner. These videos are one of the primary marketing tools of today that can attract a large audience. 3D Animation is used for complicated subjects and products compared to 2D ones because it is better to visualize them in 3D space and almost photo-realistically.
In the healthcare industry, 3D Animation plays a key role. Medical professionals now realize the benefits of 3D Animation for education, marketing and communication. Thanks to technology, high-quality animations made for informative videos are easier to grasp with in-depth Explanations – letting tons of information be explained in a short amount of time, e.g. emergency precautions, enhanced engagement and improved Recall.

This stage is where an idea goes through a process of exploration. We’ll help you flesh out the rest if you can provide at least the basic concept. To establish a creative direction, we will research and gather references (i.e. links, similar videos, or examples). We will develop and review a Creative Treatment and Moodboard. Once you are happy with the Treatment and Moodboards, we will proceed to the Pre-Production stage.
The pre-production stage comes before full-scale production begins. The first step is to develop a script/copy or screenplay. Assets such as concept art, design briefs, storyboards, and animatics are created during this stage to formally define the direction and the overall vision of a project. Sometimes a guide voiceover is recorded and merged with animatics to get a sense of the timing and flow of the project. It is easy and quick to make most changes during the pre-production stage. It also includes previsualization.
As the name suggests, this is the stage in the pipeline where full-scale production of digital assets (such as 3D objects/models) are created based on the art that was conceptualised during the pre-production stage while ensuring that it adheres to the established art direction. Some of these assets include characters, props, and environments, and these models are created using several different 3D software such as Maya or Blender. Changes can be costly during the production stage, so it is essential to get the pre-production right. The steps in this stage typically include the following:
Layout
Sculpting
Modelling
UV, Texturing & Shading
Rigging
Record Voiceover
Animation
VFX/Simulation
Lighting & RenderingPost is the final stage in the production pipeline. Compositing involves taking the render images from the previous stage and either tweaking them or combining them with additional pictures or layers to create a more complex, cohesive composition. Motion Graphics may be required, for example, titles, opening montages, captions, and logo reveals. Video editing is the manipulation and arrangement of video shots, and it is used to structure and present all video information into a flow or story.
Colour grading improves the appearance of an image for presentation in different environments on different devices. Sound design is recording, acquiring, manipulating, or generating audio elements to ensure the film or video is memorable. Mixing takes what should already be a precise performance of the creator’s and director’s original idea and brings it as close as possible to the point where everyone can agree that it’s the sound and feel they want. Mastering address the video as a whole to add consistency to its overall feeling, optimising levels through compression and limiting and finalising the track order.
Here we’ll have a number of reviews from the previs aka Draft/pre-rendered Cut to fully rendered versions, taking in as much feedback as possible from all stakeholders. If stated in your initial brief, we will also help you output for DStv, social media, TV, radio and other formats.
