Oversee the entire project lifecycle from conception to delivery, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders, including content providers, developers, and marketing teams.
Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets.
Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing risks and issues.
Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Track and report on key project metrics and milestones.
Ensure the quality and integrity of deliverables, meeting established standards and requirements.
Manage the app's pre-launch marketing, user testing and rollout
Ongoing management of the live app including feature enhancements
Qualifications
4+ years’ experience in project management for software/app development
Proven experience managing complex projects in the technology or education sector, preferably involving digital platforms or content management systems.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Experience with project management tools and methodologies, such as Agile or Scrum.
Knowledge of children education, publishing or African culture and languages is a plus.
Ability to work independently and remotely, with a high degree of self-motivation and initiative.
Proficiency in English. Proficiency in other African languages is an asset.
